The investigation revealed that nearby construction work was the source of the dust. A disconnected floor drain and negative pressure created by an exhaust system’s variable frequency drive (VFD) turned the data center into a vacuum, drawing concrete dust into the environment.

We identified the issue with the water supply and recommended replacing the water tanks and properly maintaining the humidifier system. This preventive approach helped eliminate the persistent dust accumulation and safeguarded the equipment from potential corrosion.
