Data Center Cold Aisle Containment

Supporting the Curtain System

How you support the curtains will depend upon the structural support in the computer room.

Do you need Data Center Track?

If some other means of continuous support such as structural channel (e.g. Unistrut) will be used, proceed to HookBead Bar.

If a suspended ceiling grid will be the anchor, Data Clean strongly recommends first hanging Data Center Track (DCT) around the perimeter of the curtain layout. This product extends the anchor points of the ceiling grid into a continuous support rail. DCT is available in 8’ lengths and with different accessory configurations (See price sheet). Short (6” long), factory cut mitered corners (DCT-MCS) are available to avoid field cutting 45° angles for the corners. Straight splicer splines(DCT-SS) and corner (DCT-CS) splicer splines are recommended to keep adjacent sections of DCT aligned.

Hook Bar

The next step is the hook bar track which actually holds the curtain panels. The hookbar track comes in two continuous support member configurations:

Both FW-HB and IJ-HB are available in 8’ lengths. Both also come with a cap rail which clamps the curtains in position.
